Our Achivment

So far, BRDB has successfully implemented 114 projects funded by government and donor agencies to increase agricultural production, socio-economic development, women's development, etc. in the country. In order to achieve the 'Vision-2021' of the present government, BRDB is implementing 06 projects under its annual development program along with its regular activities.

Since its inception till June 2017, BRDB has organized about 53 lakh rural men and women through 1.63 lakh associations / groups. At the same time, BRDB has raised capital of Taka 595.44 crore, provided loan assistance of Taka 13038.31 crore, provided 3.55 lakh different types of irrigation equipment including 16360 deep tube wells, provided skill and human development training to 26.94 lakh beneficiaries.


In the period 198-1995, BRDB, BIRD, RDA, BAU, JICA and Kyota University of Japan have jointly developed and implemented a sustainable development model called 'Link Model' for rural development. Besides, BRDB is acting as the 'lead agency' at the field level in implementing the government's priority project 'One House One Farm'.
